Appointing your 3rd party Witness
Your Witness is an outside third party that does NOT have an interest in the outcome of the Notice. If they have an interest in the outcome – then they are biased and there exists a conflict-of-interest. Anyone who will be a party to your family trust or your Estate should not be a Witness, ie: direct Family members! Do not choose an existing Lord or Lady, or anyone from your study-group to be your unbiased Witness.
You need to ask your Witness to run a Notice in the Legal-Notices section of a local newspaper and to Witness any and all Claims that come in or on the NAME or the Estate by letter-mail.
Yes, you can pay for the ad in the newspaper with your credit card. After the newspaper Notice of Interest has been issued and expired, your Witness then needs to issue you an: Affidavit of non-Response for any and all Public or private Notices that were issued throughout your period of Notice.
Below is a simple Affidavit of Non-Response to be filled in with your information and the Witness information signed at the bottom by your Witness in front of a Notary. Once this is done, give your Witness a Silver dollar, and you’re done.
